New English-language website
Hidden Champion was asked to write English-language texts for the international website, aimed at foreign entrepreneurs – especially the decision makers and influencers within US companies and potential business partners. The marketing advisor of Bol provided a detailed briefing and a wireframe of the website.
First, we had to determine the correct tone-of-voice and message we wanted to send. We began with a detailed description of the target group in the United States, taking into account their background, interests, wishes, needs, as well as characteristics in their thinking and behavior.
Approaching English texts
Bol asked Hidden Champion’s native-English copywriter to interview various specialists at Bol International. After thorough preparation, we asked our writer to conduct a writing test. Once Bol had agreed on the style and structure, our copywriter was able to begin writing the text.
Given the tight deadline, Bol International chose to outsource the project management side of the content creation assignment to Hidden Champion. This meant tasks could run simultaneously and was helped in ensuring the texts were completed on time.
Writing the ‘snippets’
Finally, we had to write the ‘snippets’ for the website; meta descriptions and meta titles that contribute to the findability of bolinternational.com within Google's search engine.

Moving forward, Hidden Champion aims to draw up a content strategy that will help Bol to meet its ongoing content creation needs. Our aim is to work with the company on a more regular basis with both text and image, by creating white papers, blogs, vlogs and other materials.
